JTA delivered a best practice, highly innovative, community consultation program for state and federal road/transport agencies searching for practical solutions to road and traffic problems in a key growth corridor of Brisbane.
Working on behalf of the then Queensland Department of Main Roads and Federal Department of Transport and Regional Services, JTA guided a consortium comprising council town planners, consulting engineers, government and social planning specialists. Our strategy saw technical experts working in partnership with residents and other key stakeholders to elicit preferred solutions from the community while simultaneously neutralising the corridor as a politically-charged issue for the 22 elected representatives in the corridor.
