In 2010, on behalf of the New South Wales Ministry of Transport, JTA undertook targeted consultation with key stakeholders in the transport and logistics (T&L) industry regarding the establishment of a state T&L workforce advisory group to identify key workforce planning and skills issues in the industry sector.
JTA gathered data on the industry's view on the value of such a group, the issues facing industry generally (and workforce issues in particular) and solutions that may be appropriate to address the challenges.
